Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to information when you visit elevatenpd.org. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, write to me and I will answer plainly.

The free tools keep your data on your device

Every interactive tool in the One-Page Series, including the Education Budget and Value Calculator, runs locally in your browser. The numbers, notes, and text you enter are saved to your own browser storage so your work is still there when you come back. That information is never transmitted to Elevate NPD, is not stored on any server, and cannot be seen by me.

Clearing your browser data will erase it. Use the export function inside each tool if you want a copy you control.

Analytics and session recording

This site uses two third-party services to understand how the site is used and where it can be improved.

• Google Analytics 4 records aggregate information such as pages visited, approximate location by region, device and browser type, how you arrived at the site, and which files were downloaded.
• Microsoft Clarity records site usage, which includes session recordings of page activity such as mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks, along with heatmaps showing which parts of a page draw attention.

Both services set cookies or use similar browser storage, and both process data on their own infrastructure under their own privacy policies. Clarity is configured to mask form input by default, so text you type into fields is redacted in recordings rather than captured.

These services are used to improve the site. They are not used to build profiles for advertising, and no data collected here is sold.

What is never collected

This site does not ask for, and has no use for, protected health information. Do not enter patient names, medical record numbers, or any patient-identifiable information into any tool on this site. The tools are built for program and budget planning, not clinical documentation.

Where a tool includes a free-text field, use role descriptions rather than the names of real staff members.

How to opt out

You can decline analytics tracking in several ways:

• Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Use your browser's Do Not Track or tracking-prevention settings, or a content blocker.
• Block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings.

The free tools work fully with analytics blocked. Nothing on this site requires tracking in order to function.

Email

If you email Elevate NPD, or submit a facility licensing inquiry, your message and address are used only to respond to you and to carry out the work you are asking about. Purchases made through Gumroad are handled by Gumroad under its own privacy policy, and payment details never pass through this site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information is held about you, to request its deletion, or to object to its processing. Send that request to the address below and I will act on it. Because the tools store nothing on my end, most such requests concern analytics data, which I can ask the relevant service to remove.

Changes to this notice

If the way this site handles information changes, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
